Yes, these folks here are costing me money for fun. I had to go buy the auger conversion and now looking for a cheap frisbee to function as auger saver...
Use one of the wife's aluminum pot lids, I did.
Comparison to DCD996Can't wait to do some testing!
the 996 is 840 inch pounds.
Thanks I haven't found a good conversation formula. I think the info I found was 950 or something like that.
The finished product minus the battery
Lol bs. ive heard pple say that but ive also seen guys catch fish in the area theyre drilling. Nothing wrong with a gaser.
what auger it that?
ok thanks. sounds like you wouldn't buy it again?
Thanks 3300 and thank you for sharing this thread. I don't need to convert the Nils since I have the SM 40 volt, but a lighter set up would be nice. My only concern was too much torque and it would spin my like a top at break through with this smaller auger.
thanks that was a good watch , excellent non biased test . i love that they used all the drills not just top ones . i've never heard of festool before . nice but omg is it expensive . glad i bought a milwaukee and (2) 12ah batteries
got the text that my battery kit has arrived at home depot...going to go pick it up. ****got back...battery needs to charge...I guess I can't just run out and test it yet.battery is charging...
