Well then maybe I read wrong!! I'd like to see the tournament as well, but it's a LOT of work!!  I can't find anything that says there won't be one, other than heresay, so maybe there's a chance?

The IceShanty online tourney hasn't started yet. Just keep an eye open on the "General Ice Fishing Chit Chat" board later this month. It usually starts on January 1, but you have to sign up prior to the start. They'll post a sign up post that you reply to with your name, state, and age.  Be sure to read the rules thoroughly so you don't have an entry disqualified. You'll need to take one photo with the fish laying on the ice with a ruler above or below it(don't cover up any of the ruler with the fish), and another photo of you holding the fish out on the ice. Be sure to include the printed IceShanty entry card(that you print out on your own printer) in the photo's. The card will be available the night before the tourney starts.

The last I read about it they were looking for someone else to take it over. It is a lot of work and nobody stepped up to the plate.

Jaggerhunter, I did not read that it would not be held this winter, so that is why I replied to your PM as I did. I will try to find out if it's on or not this winter.
