Al's Ice Report (Southern NH)
« on: Dec 07, 2018, 01:04 PM »
Did some pond hopping this afternoon to check ice thickness is the Nashua/Merrimack area. I was disappointed to see how little ice there was, I had brought my gear just in case I found safe ice but there was none. Hit up Round pond, Naticook, some other local spots by my office to no avail. Ice was around an inch thick in most spots. Hoping the cold weather this weekend will give us fishable ice. Looks like i'll be taking my talents north of Concord this weekend.

Cheers,
Al

I'll be checking some spots in my area of Henniker tonight and will update after.

I'm not pleased with Clement but possibly by Sunday. I heard Gile, Keaser and Todd lake in the Sunapee area are froze fairly well but use caution! Ice seems sketchy in how it formed with the last precip we got. I'm headed north and hope I stay dry tomorrow.

Gile was always my first hole 10 years ago..freezes pretty quick
when chuck norris played golf for money, chuck marked down a hole in zero every time, the golf pro said, "chuck: you can't score zero on a hole." Chuck norris turned towards the man and said, "I'm chuck norris, the man proceeded to pour gas over his body and set himself on fire because that would be less painful than getting roundhouse kicked by chuck norris....chuck norris roundhouse kicked him in the face anyways

Gregg Lake in Antrim NH has 4-8 inches on 1/3 of the lake.
