just make sure the sled is facing the right way
and the templates for drilling the holes are on the
proper side before drilling.I cut mine out and taped
on before drilling. the rest is easy

AkDan:
I found assembly of my Otter Medium to be easier than my Clam Guide.
Otter makes it easy with the "Custom Trim Lock System"..........easy attachment to sled with no drilling or screws.
Some of the square tubing was a tight fit. This was resolved with a quick spray of WD40.
Good Luck!

Make sure to file down the burrs on the poles before you put them together. This helps dramatically with the sliding of the poles.
