Yes, off Robinson's is the Inland Sea (everything north of Sandbar State Park and east of the islands). I would not target lakers there, but there are certainly salmon in the IS. Fish "hunts" minnows 5' or less under the ice. Could also be pike, perch and walleye in that area. You also mentioned "The Gut". That is all shallow, weedy water. Good pike fishing and can be good perch/panfish fishing at times. Where you should go depends on what you'd rather target.
If i catch them, i'll share them! Everyone giving me all this great info and tips it's the least I could do.
and some of your GF too if she is cute.
Sorry, I had the wrong Robinson's. I was thinking of the one on the east shore of Grand Isle. Robinson's in Mallett's Bay is not the Inland Sea, but could certainly have lakers, salmon, browns, walleye, perch, pike. That could be a better overall spot than "the other Robinson's", actually! Good luck to you and sorry for the confusion.
3-4" with small drifts of Snow are covering most coves already. Yeah not going to be fun with more coming.
Or a snowmobile...!!
Thanks Crayfish2! Also, can I get a VT Fishing license at Dockside or should I just do it online? Would rather do it there because I don't have my girlfriends license info on me and would rather take care of it at once.
Nice trout.Inland sea?
LOL ! Hey now!
