Unrelated, but I miss bow season... BAD!

Ever have one of those years that is nearly impossible to beat and you can't stop thinking about it? Don't get me wrong, I love ice fishing, but archery hunting holds a pretty special place in my heart. Any other great successes this year?

Did shoot a dandy this year, but you can’t complain about not having time to hunt ALL of archery into the 3rd week of rifle. Then, spending a whole 20 mins walking from the truck and getting one. Had the bull packed out by myself by 10 am

The ol man was happy with his findings this year too. He spent a whole three days hunting. Nothing the first day, bull down the second, buck down the third.

Took a decent bull and a real nice pronghorn but this guy made my season,passed over 20 4x bucks and it paid off...not the largest rack on my wall but by far the largest deer I have killed,felt like we were packing out a spike bull.

Took the third week of September off this year and it was awesome! Snow and cold with bulls screaming and chasing cows hard. Saw some dandy 6 points but never could pull off the stalk but couldn't have been happier when I got this 5 pt in range on Friday evening after chasing bulls all week!

Oh man, I couldn't even bring myself to do it inside. That is probably the worst smell. Not as bad if it's really fresh, but I would catch so much hell if I even that about it. Bravo!

missed this bull at 8 yards  during the middle of September..
My buddy killed the same bull in the middle of November.

That's too bad, but funny thing about missing... I missed my bull on 9/24 and went back in on 9/26 and called him back in. Shot him 20 yards from where I missed him the first time! Had bulls going absolutely crazy those days.

Nice bull. I shoot an older Hoyt Carbon Element and thought about upgrading ad well, but had the same thought. This bow hadn't disappointed me yet, so why pawn it for something shinier?
