went Monday caught 20 only 5 keepers. Fished at headquarters past channel by reeds

If u fish way in the back birdhouse point you will get some good ones. Takes most of the day to put a decent mess together tho. Been 3 times 16 22 and 25 keepers. Some throwbacks keeping 8 inch and above.

Did good out front of Hq, but go where no one is around drilling holes every 5 minutes, walked thru channel and went left at the end of it. Got 14 good ones, but thats the first time I got anything.

Just spoke with HQ they said " we don't want the road tore up". Thats why it's closed. Why do we continue to pay for inadequate state government?

A lot of guys out today. Remember to bring your cleats. I wore a cheap pair thinking they would be fine. WRONG. Only caught 7 fish today. Talked to 3 other guys and they all did better than me. NEXT TIME....

They actually do alot of work around the property, and its a large property.

Not a big deal that one access is closed down for a couple days during a major thaw, to prevent ppl getting stuck and tearing stuff up.

Just find another access point, pretty simple. Dont get mad when they do a bunch of work and drain the place in the next couple years. 🤔🤔

Patrol road will always be open. Its a solid gravel road. Has the 2 boat launches for duck hunting the marsh.

To get to mormon hill u take the road back from area 4. It ets sloppy on a good thaw.

Yes it is closed .... If you read one of the 100 Willow slough posts there is talk about bait shops available on the way to the slough

Was that Chiefs? I was there 2 weeks ago and he was open. Heard it was closed from someone else. That’s why it seemed kinda weird.

Yes cheifs on 41 and 10 . To my knowledge it closed months and months ago . I wanna say it was this past summer . I was in there and got bait and then one night after work I stopped and boom it was closed ! I know cheifs aka Tony's is still open in Michigan City tho....

There is P DEES bait that is fairly close . Abisop could help ya more on how to get there and hours I've never been just seen signs
