Underwater fishing lights

Hey everyone,

Has anybody had any experience using these ice fishing at night with any success? Just curious
Every day is a good day it's just some days are better than others

night fishing for kokanee is a hoot. havent targeted anything else

Used one for smelt... Not sure if it helped or not but we caught some???

most definitely!!!!  been doing it for crappie and gill for like 7yrs now. wouldnt go without it these days.  also playing around with lights in daytime for perch.  lower the light down to bottom and it will draw little critters to it, along with fish. link this with chum and hold the roaming perch under you.

Have used lights at night for crappies. Also gills on one particular lake years ago. Both icefishing.

Definitely uses lights at night for crappies in the summer.
I live in the midwest now but have fond memories of fishing in New England as a kid.

Appreciate the replies guys! I found one at garage sale for $2 and am going to give it a try. I would imagine it's like anything else in that you just have to play around with it to see what works.
