Broken Mora auger handle??

Hey all,

Getting things ready this season and I noticed my handle is broken. The cap has come off and is chipped. Any ideas how to mend this or a diy solution? Not sure how the handle can rotate 360 and still be retained on the shaft.

Will the handle stay on with downward pressure?

As for the cracked knob, would water spiked knob Work? First thing that popped in my head

Every Mora I’ve had did this. A piece of wood with a hole sunk into it, a water pipe “T” connector does the trick....anything you can find that would spin free enough will do the trick. Just don’t leave it at home. It sucks trying to drill holes without something on top.

Thanks for the heads up on the replacements! Would like something DIY for the time being. Will be getting a new auger or converting this one to a drill plate style soon.
