I had a customer get some shiners from me today up here at Coach Ed's, he was thinking it should be ready in a day or two.

Good solid ice in a lot of places here. People are out fishing. Think it was 4.5" or 5" at upper end.

Coach Ed, Where are you located. I may stop in this week. I ended up going to Glendale but Friday and Saturday but my buddy hit YC up and they caught a few pike.

In spots but the drag wasn't bad. Certain areas you would break through the top 2" which can be a cheap thrill. But overall the ice was 7"-10" depending on where you were.   Lou

Checked ice today, sketchy getting out, but some lucky hardwater anglers put a 10' 2x10 out on the north shore launch, other than that, it isn't too bad.  We had some great fishing this weekend, multiple legal pike.
