Was a blast! Got to the lake at 530 before the sunrise to find that we were the second on the lake. Caught over 20+ 18” bows and am glad the lake is coming back with decent slimers. Lost one pike, which i was sad and am still learning how to catch them. But over all it was a great start for my first trip. Wish I could of crossed off the pike of my list though.

Not saying I don't believe that you caught even one rainbow over 15" but you ARE a fisherman after all and we are talking about tiny-all...

Sounds like a good day either way. Good luck checking a pike off your list
