Does anyone know the actual size of the 5 and 6 inch?Sounds like the Russians made a good auger. Now if they could only make a garbage can!
Been out 11 Times now and my blades look like new. Average 20-25 holes. Ice varied from 7-12".
6" blades are out of stock everywhere Mine are like new after 1 season, but i need to have backup blades. If anyone knows where i can get 6" blades for Nero, please let me know!!Thanks alot

If I don't have a drill yet how does this augers work manually
First time I tried my Nero was on 12" of ice. I hadn't used a hand auger in like 15 years and was pretty rusty at it plus the offset handle was new to me. I cut through 12" of ice in about 8 seconds. With drill same ice is like 6 seconds.
No 8 inch. I believe that you are correct that the largest is 7 inch.I will stop by the HT booth at the show today and see if they have plans for a larger one.
I just spoke to the guy at HT. Good News. There will be a true 8 inch Nero for next season. They missed the window this year but it will happen.
