Trying to see what 20 dollars of Wal Mart Gear can catch

I decided to do the 20 dollar walmert fishing challenge on hardwater. The bluegill were on a finicky bite which required 300 dollar flasher to catch fish where i fished at.

I believe I seen this on youtube before here. Pretty good challenge to try. When we get good ice I'll have to give it a go.

Ive been trying to do this at other stores too just to see what gear you can get for 20 dollars. Some days having a flasher and good gear really helps when bite gets tough though.

Having a good flasher helps, but it really boils down to technique and presentation.
A flasher will show you if fish are present, but won't make them bite.
