Rose Valley 2017 Biologist report.
« on: Dec 21, 2017, 08:09 AM »
Did anyone else read up on the 2017 Biologist report for Walleye in Rose Valley? I was impressed by the numbers, but not the size. How does Chillisquaque support much larger Walleye? And anyone target Walleye with tip-ups with any good success?

Couldn't buy a walleye bite this year on the Chilly on open water. This will be my first year fishing the hard stuff at Chilly in almost 20 years.

We had 8 guys up there one night and had 14 tipups and everyone was jigging and we didn't catch a walleye at all.  I have caught several jigging but the tip ups are just not working for me.   Nez
