Anyone Ice Fish Anywhere Yet?

Nov 9, the earliest I've ever been ice fishing. Also fished on the 10th and 13th when I finally caught my first of the year through the ice.

Was at the Red Deer Fish and Game association habitat land just north of Pine Lake, Alberta, fishing on almost 6" of ice, and caught a fat rainbow that was close to 18".

no lines in yet, but I did stand on the hard water today and punch a few holes with a shovel just because I could

Went out monday on a small pond got a few northern. went back today and the lake was open with whitecaps on it!!
now im back to waiting for ice.

Yes I was out last Sunday here in Alaska.
Fishing was excellent.
5"-6" of good solid ice.
Caught over 30+ fish between the three of us in ~4 hours with a good average size.

Been out this season so far in Colorado! Brookies and tigers! I've iced before November before been but that was one heck of a hike!!! I'm good with the first week or so of November.
