Burt Lake Conditions

Headed to Burt lake. I've been getting conflicting ice reports. Some say machines will be fine others say no.

When are you headed up? I'm thinking of making a trip there this weekend. I haven't heard any recent reports, but they were driving quads there last weekend. I didn't see it, but was told the ice was 10-12". They may be far enough north to escape the ice killing warm up we are having down here.

Ice is good on the north end. Fishing is painfully slow.

Headed over to Maple Bay this evening. Ice is soft and minimal activity. A few machines out with quads were struggling with double layer and slush. By the end of tomorrow it will be a mess..
