Our choices right now are north or northwest
Now is the time for all good men and women to engage in the sport of ice fishing

i enjoy ice fishing, but i don't enjoy forcing it (i.e. fishing borderline ice, driving all over the place looking and checking just to fish places because they have 2.5 inches of ice...) i'll be boat fishing again next weekend and probably the weekend after that too...if we get real ice i'll try again, but there is absolutely no chance i'm not fishing somewhere haha

Saw a guy on Steenykill yesterday. We had a good 5-6 inches about 30 minutes north of that this weekend.

I was out on Lake Marcia on Sunday morning. There was 4" to 5". The shorelines were thin and cracked as I walked on and off. I'm not encouraged that they will make it through this week.
