Blocking corners of my hub
«
on:
Jan 08, 2017, 04:41 PM »
First time out with the otter lodge and nearly froze the corners and skirt to the ice,
Looking for long term solitution for those edges to not be froze in.
Long pieces of plywood 6 inches wide all the way around??
Any tips or ideas appreciated

Buy a length of heavy duty chain to put on the skirt.

Should I just put wood blocks on the corner? See,Ed to want to freeze into the ice, we usually don't have much snow on the lakes

Don't freeze it to the ice. You'll have a hard time getting it out.

On bare ice drill "half" holes and use the chips ....don't use the slush from your auger holes ...your spud bar works too...I may use magnets to secure it to the bar this season

a Chain works to ...if your ATV'n it not a bad idea to have a chain so its a multitasker
