Has anyone ice fished this place? Does it have decent ice? I know they stock it with trout, but anyone do any good with anything else?

How's the ice out there?
I know some old pits have sketchy ice and this was an old pit. I also know some pits near rivers are on the same water table (Like the Muscatine Pits and the Mississippi)....is this affected by the Cedar?

The place is loaded with springs that won't lock up. Some you can see but lots are weak thin ice. Best way to learn a spring fed lake is to Scout it early. Don't go alone
