Lost poles
« on: Jan 03, 2017, 05:26 PM »
Had a friend who called me and said that someone lost two poles on high lake near Columbia city. He wants to return them to the owner. Two gaffight poles with reels. Please describe to return to the rightful owner. P.m me if you want. Thanks and be safe.

That's what being an angler is all about. Hope you get them to their rightful owner!

Great Job on trying to find out who the poles belong to.  Just a thought: if no one can find the owner maybe there's a couple of younger people that could use a donation to help them get some better gear.  Like I said just a thought.

No takers as of yet. Going to wait until ice is off and then find a couple of younger people to give to. Thanks for the suggestion.

You welcome, but I think the idea needs to be credited to Joe Harner (I've never met the man), but I remember last year he tried to help out some youngster with a shanty and some other gear.  Not sure that it worked out so well for him, but I loved the idea of paying it forward.
