In the end, i had 2 walleye caught. And missed two other fish on the tilts. One was pulling like like mad and popped off at the hole. Im guessing a pike that wasnt hooked all that well and popped off when it saw the hole. We were of the ice around 11am, rounding o an 18hr trip.

Thats pretty much river fishing.. One day u get skunked, the next you got a State pin walleye on the ice.

Nice Pike. Looks like it was a good turn out. I have been having so much fun fishing CT river  setbacks north of the border. I went north again. Slow day for me with 1 pike. Congrats to the little girl. Thats a great catch.  . Capt sorry I missed this one. There is always next year.

I'd say it was a slow day for me,  but I did manage to jig up a perch, a gill, and a pretty sizeable crappie hole-hopping waiting for flags and the increasingly elusive first pike I've been after all winter.



One pickerel on a flag that kept tripping all morning.  Still not the pike I was looking for, but any fish on the ice is a good day on my book!

Always fun at the Barton's gathering. Met some guys for the first time and good to see others I've met through the years. Missed a few of the usual attendees. Only had two flags and no hook ups but was nice to be nearby to see bisceglia and his daughter bag that pike. Rickyriged got spooled too and had a treble hook broken and straightened by what had to be a huge pike. Nice video PeteSaloom, you left too much Spanky on the cutting room floor! Nice eye Will and thanks Lenz for the fine stogie. Spanky shared some fine chili with the group as well. Thanks Capt. for hosting!
