Has anybody fished carters pond recently trying to find out how the ice is? It is located in washington county near salem.

It should be ok as long as you stay out in the center and don't go near the inlet or outlet.  I was on Cossayuana Thursday and it had 7-8" of ice on it...

I was out today 6-7 inches of ice all small fish. good day though.

Yeah,
                     Stunted fish so it needs guys to take a bunch out. Then someday it will hold some nice ones. ;) I figure you could eat about a dozen on a hard roll ;D

right on JACK, that is how you make a poor pond a good pond
what i do with the small ones is clean/scale then put in boiling
water,take out when white[cooked] put in ICE water then the
meat comes off the bones easy
NOW dip in red sauce and EAT "GREAT"
