Where are you buying live minnows and how do you keep them from freezing? What are vendors selling them for?
When using livies, what lure works best?
THANKS!

Pro am tackle on nairn has good quality live minnows as for keeping them from freezing that's a tough one i usually keep a few small rocks and heat them up with my heater and place them in the water this keeps it from freezing its the only thing ive come up with so far but it works

I bought mine on esso on 44. and I use 1/4 jigs or smaller and set up 8 to 10 inches off bottom. let the minnows do the work. I put them in a plastic bucket and never have issues with freezing.

Anyone know the current ice thickness in the east or west side of the lake?
