Slab Gill
« on: Dec 20, 2016, 09:44 AM »
Got out last night to test out my new Marcum LX7, and BOY! I was amazed. Compared to the Lowrance X67c it was a whole new world. the only thing that I felt was a little fuzzy was the Color marks from the LCD screen. I cant really complain though. I would still Recommended the X67C to any Angler, compared to the newer lowrance X4 and X5. Biggest Slag was 9" my recorded for the biggest gill ever.  the Marcum LX7 was well worth the $700 plus my discount at a local shop that I work at, but honestly I would not change anything different from the unit. Also Attach a Vid of the meaurements of the 9"

You bet! Nice, nice.
We're born, we live for a while, and then we die.  Sounds like a good reason to go ice fishing.

Nice fish.  It looks like one of them might have some green sunfish in it.

I was going to say something about the third one down from the top --- looks to me like it might be a hybrid with some pumpkinseed or green in it.  The pattern on the cheek and the operculum spot is different.  Cool looking fish.

yea I can agree too, one of them did have the Structure of a Green sunny with Huge llps. I really think they were hybrid but could also be a shell Cracker, The only difference from a shell cracker is that they have a orange or yellow Circle around there Blue dot around their ear. they all measured out from 6"- 9"

NICE JOB!!!  Yeah, I had an LX7, but had to sell it to pay some bills this last summer when my wife and I hit some financial troubles.  I'll get another one though, hopefully soon.  Best unit I've ever seen or used.

The next time you think you know it all, try telling someone else's dog what to do.
