Hi everyone...this is Togueking. I'm newly signed up. I was wondering if anyone out there knows the current ice conditions on Schoodic lake up in Brownville area?? I've never fished the lake before...but I want to go and conquer. Any good fishing locations would be greatly appreciated as well. I'll be in search of togue and cusk mostly.
I went to the East Grand derby and did fairly well on the cusk. My father and I caught one cusk 9.1lbs, two 8 lbs, one 7lbs, one 6lbs, a 4.5lb togue, and a bunch of other small cusk. Let all of them swim again except for 3 that went in the stew pot.
I'm from the Machias area, so if anyone wants any advice about lakes around my area, I'd be willing to oblige.
