With the wind dying nh off and staying below zero I bet we made some good ice overnight and will continue through the day today. That is, until the rain Sunday

Not sure how much rain we're getting, but temps drop right back down the next few days. People forget it's only mid-December right now and we're starting off much better than last year. Lots of season left!

The temps suck for end of next week in S. NH but mid to north shouldn't lose much ice with next week's warmer temps. I'm excited for this season

Good ice today sun is going to melt snow so it can freeze as an extra layer of ice and then with some more freezing temps tonight we SHOULD have thick enough ice, with that said don't go out and start fishing with that in mind bring the spud and picks. Good luck to anyone heading out this weekend

One of the ponds I fished today only added 1 1/2" since sunday. While another pond added about 2 1/2".

Yep, fished Tarleton Saturday and was surprised to only see 2.5"-3" 20 feet offshore followed by 5 inches of slush on top. Not sure how we got so much slush in single digit temps

lol wasn't too bad! 10 flags from 7am to like 10am. Left after that due to the slush and storm. Buddy iced one nice 13" brown. I wanted to go for Lakers since I was expecting at least 4" but we didn't venture out past 7ish feet
