It'll be nice when you get it insulated and can light a fire and spend a weekend up there ice fishing!!!
You got that right OS!!!I've got an old pop up camper that is going to become a hard side fer me to fish out of.
Thank you for the photo and update, what items due you plan to transport to cabin site this Winter.Steve
Will you ice fish any spots you find fishing with your boat ? Are you going to build any of your furniture? Looks like going back to town will be harder to do this year, especially if you get the stove working.
Looks really nice from your new toy and from space, isn't technology great. What do plan for this year on the cabin? IW
Dave, we're glad to see you getting back at it again!! That is a cool looking stove!! Let us know how that works out for you. I hope you don't get worn out hauling pellets out there for it!! Is it highly efficient?? Good luck this season!!! Keep on keeping on!!!
Drifter 016/Dave nice photos with assistance of your new toy. To my knowledge most bags of stove pellets here in the U.S. are 40 pounds so if you cabin is similar in square footage to friend's mothers house with equal insulation a bag should last you 4 or more days. Just curious how much area does your lease cover will you possibly have neighbors on the island/peninsula?Thank you for the update looking forward to more as this years construction starts.Steve
Thank you for the reply Drifter 016 saw your stove or similar model at my local Tractor Supply Company store odd looking design sure you researched stove efficiency before making purchase. So you could have neighbors in time but will have buffer between your properties personally think you will have limited people out there during Winter months.Steve
One or two good neighbors could be beneficial if help is needed or you might want to pick-up a fishing partner. Post an add "No neighbors allowed unless you fish both Summer and Winter" LOL. Good luck this summer.
What made you choose a pellet stove over a wood burner? I知 genuinely interested being you probably have a nearly endless wood supply for free I知 assuming, so I知 sure there is a particular reason for the pellet stove?
Those gravity pellet stoves look ineresting, no power needed.Do you need to clean them every day like the conventional ones?
