Anyone use jack traps that are made in Maine?
What do you think of them?

High Quality!

Only complaint I have at all is real big bait can trip the flag.  Sliding it down helps but bends the flag.

Same here, I have a few.

Get the painted heritage tip ups, no false flags.
Great tip up.
Stay away from the Indian hills they are really just a more expensive copy of the heritage tip ups

Never used the jack traps.

+1 for the finished heritage tips ups however.

Get the unfinished heritages and coat them with a few coats of stain and poly

Indian hills are the best!! Bought them for my x-mas present for myself this year. I have heritage and these are much better all around.  Just my 2 cents.

Great quality.  Had to modify my set to add some tension adjustments.  May not be an issue depending on what your fishing for . Easy enough fix. My only problem is they wind up backwards compared to other traps.   Odd.  Other than that I love them.  No wind flags !

Look at the big bait holders for the larger baits on The jack traps.   they look like Roach clips for the bottom side of your trap.
