Old old jiffy
« on: Feb 21, 2016, 07:51 PM »
I made a big error the other day. I bought a brand new 10" eskimo bit auger online. I was trying to replace the one on my jiffy "it's so old that the blade is welded on" and difficult at best to sharpen. Oh and it has the suicide handle as well. Anyway the new bit bolted right up, got on the ice Saturday and fired it up. The damn thing rotates counter clockwise! Any one out there have what I need and is willing to trade for a 10" eskimo brand new?

Most 2 cycle engines run in either direction.

Change the pull-start for the opposite direction of rotation and you'll be all set.     ;)2

Just another in the long list of reasons to run fast and far when an Eskimo auger is nearby-
Love Me or Hate Me-
All Metal all the Time!
