2/15 - Failed miserably chasing Tiger Musky on a cold & snowy Monday. A single lost perch at the hole ended up being our only flag of the day. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if the DEC is stocking shiners instead of Tiger Musky and pocketing the cash hahaha
2/16 - Monsoon
2/17 - Took my girls to get their ears pierced in the morning, had a nice lunch at home, got the nod from the wife to take a couple hours to try and chase the skunk away. With redemption on our minds, my friend and I set up on our favorite spot - a steep bank with a bunch of lay-downs, boulders and some deep weeds. It was slow going again and just when it looked like back to back shutouts, a flag popped & we wiggled and wedged a monster out of the hole! Definitely up there with the biggest LM's I've caught and eerily similar to one my friend landed and released in the same spot last year.
