Auger blade shims
« on: Jan 23, 2016, 05:18 PM »
Ok, I think I have made this harder than it needs to be, but the directions and what a buddy at the bait shop said are opposite. I had mora blades sharpened, he sent shims along. The note said "shims on top at very front", shop owner said, " Put them in from the tail side and push them forward to the screws...which is correct...ice edge side or backside??

I'd say the back side to increase the cutting angle. Only 1 way to find out for sure! :)
Keep yer stick on the ice!
