Word to the Wise

I was coming off the ice after dark last weekend and stepped into an 8" hole someone had drilled. Didn't see it so the full force of my body went down into the hole. Good thing my fishing buddy was with me. Couldn't get my foot back through the hole. Had to remove my boot. Hospital trip. Xrays and nothing broken but BADLY bruised. Word to the wise watch carefully where you step.

Did the same thing last year. Stepped in a drain hole and fractured my wrist. Wasn't looking where I was going and it was getting dark. Not fun.

when we were kids my nephew skated into a hole  he was cold and bruised but nothing broken ....hope you guys are ok
