Lake arthur butler county

Was wondering what the ice was like hoping to get out this weekend depending on how thick the ice was. Thanks in advance!

Fished muddy creek on Sunday and had about 4 inches of ice. Also heard guys fishing bear run and in front of the church. Check out the reports and conditions page lots of info there.

Can't comment on anywhere other than Muddy Creek.  Fished it Sun and Mon, had 4" of solid, clear ice with about 1/2" of white ice on top of that.  Snow on Monday may have put a light cover, but I left by 2pm so not sure what happened as the second front rolled in.

I didn't see a introduction page but wanted to say hi. I see a couple familiar names here from other places around the web. I am pretty much a rookie but am wanting to get out a little bit this year. Will mostly fish Lake Arthur, but also have a few other places I want to try.

Hopefully with these next 2 nights in the single digits, it'll be at least 6" thick at upper 528 area. Going up this Thursday for some Gill!!!

McDaniels and MC are two extremely different places.

Odonnell's on route 19 right of 422

OD's sells chubs?  I didn't know that...but then again it's been years since I've been in there.

I've not seen anyone on the main lake yet.  There was still open water in areas of the main lake on Monday.  I'd think you would want to stay away from there for another week.

Has anbody heard anything on old 422? I know it's deep out across to the other side. There was a guy out last Sunday but he was only 50ft off the shore. Just trying to weigh my options for Saturday and my best opportunity to get some action.

never good idea to be by either 528 or 422 bridge due to salted road runoff.more snow more bad ice :o

Fished upper 528 launch at Arthur today. Had 6.5 inches of ice. Fished 5 foot of water, caught some nice perch and Gill
