Thanks for reports and info all, and good luck and be safe out there! Not gonna make it to Bass yet, but I bet they are there waiting like everywhere else!  We just have to catch em!

Went back out today in and around the same area and only caught 1 in 21ft of water way up high in the water column 4ft under the ice. Just before 1 in the afternoon. Drilled a bunch of holes and stayed mobile and no more luck....stayed on the ice til 7 marked fish almost the hole time no takers.....something has to give!!!

If you are fishing the deep water you should be marking crappie about in the middle of he water column. Are you parking at the beach area of walking out to the south hole from the marina?

I could be wrong but I thought I was told they only stock fry in Bass. They stock all fingerlings in Maxi. Spring and Fall. Larger ones in fall. They need to stock some of them fingerlings in Bass IMHO.
That would explain why maxi has a bigger avg. , 19,000 fingerlings have a lot better survival rate than 1,000,000 fry

Did you get your well set Al, I had to go to a deep well a few years back.
What a pain them wells are.

I ran it for a few hours yesterday and I now have the clarity I need. However, I am still experiencing some sand which I was told will stop after everything settles. Better be soon. I wanted it drilled 40 feet but they hit clay at 24. This is still deeper than my old one. Think my old one was 12-15 feet.

Hoping to get out there and try Sat. Never fished bass lake, but heard of its eyes. Hoping I'll have some luck
