Anybody check out Kahle in Venango county yet? I know it covers pretty quick. Thanks for any info.

Anybody fishing either of the tournaments on Kahle? One on Feb. 6th, other on Feb. 20th?

Have not checked it. But we are supposed to be getting quite a bit of snow today. Which as you know is not good. Wilhelm by launch #1 is wide open this morning. Didn't check up the lake further. Of course there is some thin ice by the shorelines here and there. By the outlet it is covered across the lake. I don't think it is very thick ice though. But have not talked to anyone that has been down by Kahle.

I was at kahle Monday morning had 1" checking it tomorrow morning think it will be good by the weekend I hope

Kahle has 3" off the clarion side as of 12:00 today only bad thing is all the snow will slow down the ice

I live in Knox pretty windy here . Don't have much snow . How much was on the lake at noon? Hope the wind blows the snow off . How far out did u check?

Here is the info on the tournament on February 20th. Looks like we will be rescheduling the Arthur event, so stand by and watch the Facebook page for updates. I will also be posting updates in this forum as soon as I know more.

People fishing kahle today just got back from checking it 10 people out checked ice had 3 to4 inches be go to go after the weekend for those who want more ice I'll be on it good luck to all hard water walkers

It is 45 if u get in to it that day if u register by the 2nd it 40 if u don't want in the big fish its 35

Venango is the north end, clarion south.

The south side is in Clarion Co. ......The North is Venango Co.

North side closer to dam.. also first road coming down 38 from 322.. North Kahle lake Rd.

Hi guys, newbie to the IceShanty Forums. I lost my access to a private lake this year due to my family member moving away... That said, I am expanding my range a bit. Kahle is looking like it is the closest lake to target the species I fish for mainly(perch, crappies, and gills). Is there significant structure/drop-offs that I should be looking for or is this a cat an mouse game lake? Thanks Again, Mike

Cat and mouse. Very little structure. Early bite is closer to shore by weedlines then move further to deeper water and the main channel of the lake as season goes on. Best right at sunrise and sunset. I have fished here alot and I have had great days and probably just as many horrible ones. Depends on your style of fishing too.
