First outing on borderline Ice 😲

Met up with Matt & Joe today for my first walk on the water. It's definitely one of those be aware of your surroundings day! We were on 4" but it was limited and dropped to 2-2½" beyond the lip in the ice. I didn't have a slamming day but did get

Thanks guys! The blurred out background was nothing more than humor. Anyone that knows me, knows to just ask where I'll be, and I happily tell them. Round 1 was decent, first day getting a bass is ok in my book. Matt even got a semi-biggie 😆🍻 @ 4.11 👍 Whenever you're walking on water, it's a fantabulious day. Round 2 post coming up soon. Round 2 today had a great ending!

I'm relieved to hear there was enough ice.  The report I had received earlier in the week wasn't encouraging.

If there's enough ice where you fished today, it's giving me hope - - I may try another pond (K of C) just down the road.
