Close one for sure, I would have to say walleye. Easier to fillet for me especially with the electric

Walleye hands down. Not to mention you don't have to deal with the slim.

I've yet to have burbot but most like walleye because it's so mild. My mom who won't eat fish likes a good eye fillet. Pretty much tastes like whatever you cook it with. I prefer my fish to have more of its own flavor.

I'd go with Walleye by a country mile. However a fresh fillet off of a Burbot is sum delicious eats! I think due to their healthy consumption of crayfish they possess a unique flavor that transcends into a mild white flakey v shaped fillet that has a nice crayfish / shrimpy finish! Again ling is really delicious and a for sure top 5 freshwater fish in my rankings as far as eats go but Walleye and yellow perch take the cake for me.
