We have a local brewery that has a fence covered with them, looks cool but makes used skis hard to come by around here!!!  >:(

if there is a ski shop around you, ask them for the old skis.

I've picked up 2 sets at the garbage transfer station.  Just ask the attendant to put them on the side instead of running them into the compactor.
