I would agree with super-ice-bird. Pay for the express shipping. May talk with the order company about putting a hand warmer in with the bait. It might keep it from freezing. I drive a couple hours to Cabelas and buy bait in bulk so I don't run out. most will keep all winter it you take care of it.
Can you order crawdaddys online?
I don't think you can do that without authorization form G&F. Someone did that a few years ago and now we have invasive species of crayfish in the state. ClearCreek
We do? Rusty crayfish?
Do you want them for bait? Or to eat them? You can access the fishing regulations here https://wgfd.wyo.gov/Regulations/Regulation-PDFs/WYFISHINGREGS_BROCHUREThe portion that covers your question is on the bottom of page 9.From my understanding of the law: You can order them for bait. But if you do, make sure they are not "Rusty Crawfish" and also make sure that you do not use them alive. If you want to use live craws you have to catch them at the lake or river you want to fish them at.
Pardon me, but did I say something incorrect? Looks like you said exactly what I said.
gem;I think what the FishBio is saying is you said you can order them for bait, but the regs say crustaceans shall not be imported for bait. ClearCreek
Well, just to to report back, the spikes from speedyworm arrived in good shape! They were maybe a little smaller than what we expected, but to be fair, this was my first spike purchase so I don't have a lot to compare to, so overall, I was satisfied with the quality and promptness of service from speedyworm and would gladly order from them again.
