yeah, he did that too. ::)

It's ok, I got plenty. Now I just gotta build another bench... but I gotta get rid of something to make room. Maybe over on the wifes side of the basement  ;)

I stay on "my side" of the basement. I used to occupy the smaller bedroom and not only outgrew it but needed it for my Grandson to visit as he got older. So, I moved downstairs. I do miss the natural light, but I make due.

I'm pretty adept at making use of available space. Besides, I like building the shop near as much as using it.

Well, they'll have to get past my bride first. She's kind of used to me cooking , cleaning and doing the laundry.

Sorry rg, gotta spill..... Loctite 1365736 8 Fluid Ounce Bottle Heavy Duty Quick Set Epoxy Adhesive.

How'd I do?

There are no secret spots. There are no magic lures. Sometimes it just seems that way......

Good guess. I'm due for a new batch too. Those are about done in. I've tried a lot of other stuff, but it's the easiest to work with.

I Dont have to think about it much. What I want is generally right in front of me. If I spend any time looking for something, I make a place for it. I've worked in many shops. Most spend way too much time chasing their tails. It just makes it easy for me.

At my age, if I tried to remember where I put it last, I'd probably never remember. One doesn't really need too much stuff to put a rod together. It's a simple process really.

"Mise en place", the French culinary term meaning everything in place is how I roll.

Prep everything
Have what you need at hand
Clean as you go

I didn't used to be that way....but I learned.

people  laugh  but when I  tie flies I  get out exactly what I need  for that on pattern  and  that's what I stick with generally I  tie  5  to 10   then move to something else  putting  everything  away ,  this makes it a lot  easier  for me and keeps my work area clean
