Found myself hitting the old IS icon to see if anything was stirring. Too funny. Tad early. My open water is more or less done, but hunting is just getting started. Much to do there in little time. Yet, the ice does does beckon and the way time seems to fly, at an exponentially increasing speed, I'll sneeze and it will be late December. So be it. I was aghast to see the Bruins already skating tonight, so the ponds are frozen somewhere I guess. Lol. Anyway, just saying an early hello to those of you diehards that were making shanty adjustments in the driveway, or re-stringing trap leaders, or pouring lead jigs, etc., IN JULY because I know you were.
