Derby ?

What is the deal with derby cancellations, due to the weather?  Due they usually postpone them or just cancel them for the season.  For instance, the Chadwicks (Boxford) derby this sunday, anyone heard anything?

I emailed them and they said that there was 8" of ice on Monday and that he was gonna check the ice tmra after noon. Ill find out tmra weather or not its a go. Im pretty sure im going so ill PM you this week.

I know that the HHRG which sponsors the Chadwick tourney is subject to the fire dept, and the Harbor Master to decide the conditions of the ice.  Last year they didn't post a cancellation until Saturday b4 the tourney.  Hopefully it gets colder soon.  I like fishung that tourney.  5 min from home.
