May be post a link I know other members are looking for deals on floating suits .

I have the Climate Parka/Bibs ...the bib liner stayed out all last season ..way too hot I just wore thin sweat pants and I was toasty.. the parka has some nice pockets ..love the key sleeve pocket EZPZ access.. the detachable hood is a nice touch

Another vote for the Striker suits.  I have a Climate parka and hardwater bibs.  A great combination.  Only wear a set of underarmour cold gear under it.

That's the way to go I'm not a fan of the climate bibs the liner has a tendency to pop out and wick water up, Way up if your in the slop all day.
My coat is going on 5 yo this season I wear it as my winter coat all winter every day.

t's nice, the way Striker lets you mix the tops and bottoms.  A real plus to find a retailer and try them on before purchasing.  I did, then went and bought the climate top from a bud and the hardwater bibs from a local bait shop.  Bait shop didn't have the top in my size.

Jim at PTO stocks Striker suits and can ship too. Better off supporting board sponsors imo.

I bought one last year from PTO and love it, You won't need a ice shanty even on the coldest days.

Predator suits Jim stocks at PTO but he can also order anything. I picked up a Hardwater from Jim and had bought the Climate the year before Jim became a dealer. All of Strikers suits are nice but my favorite is still the Climate because of all the liner options and the jacket liner is also a full functioning waterproof jacket. The Climate bib liner however is not waterproof and will wick up water if slop fishing on your knees. They make some other very nice outdoor clothing too like the hooded sweatshirt that's also waterproof.

Well, with all the advice I got when I posted updating my ice shanty that I am NOT updating, the money I will save I'll invest in an ice suit,  Not really for the warmth but the safety of having floatation built into the suit.  A buddy of mine bought one about 6 or 7 years ago and loved it.  I'd have bought his off him when he decided to quit ice fishing altogether but I'm only 5'3" and he's about 6'1" so there was no way it would fit.  I think I'll start off with just the coat first and if I like it, I'll invest in some bibs.  Nobody likes going through the ice but if it happens, it's nice to know you have a safety feature built into your clothing.

the bibs and jacket are meant to work in conjunction with eachother.  thats why clam only sells them in sets(the lift suit)
