Horsethief fish salvage

They are going to drain the lake to get rid of the Bullhead, looks like no ice fishing this year. >:(

I expect it will take a couple of years to recover. Too bad, it's been a great place to fish early and through the ice season.

Why get rid of the bullheads their good eating , mind giving a website or info on why the bullheads have to be removed
Fishaholic yes I am do I need help only with finding a bigger place to store all my stuff

Maybe if more people knew there was bullhead in there they would fish for them, I would.

I like them a lot.  If the water is skanky toss me in a live well or bait tank for a day or three. Skin and cook like ittlecatfish.  Yum

Well the best bait I found for bullhead up at Avondale lake in North Idaho is lunker lotion garlic smell on a big old worm, I had 8 in a few minutes had to use one pull cause I kept getting double hook ups

That is too bad. It was a decent place to go for a quick hardwater trip.

Man I wish that lake was near me, I'd fix the bullhead problem! Something about draining out a lake to get rid of bullheads bothers me for some reason...

But after reading the article in more detail I can see why they might want the bullheads out because of the lakes use as a water supply. Damn bucket biologists...
