Anyone braving the rain this weekend????????????????

I have 2-3 dozen bait left. My spot on the river is being washed away as I type. Another spot on the river fails to produce this time of year as well as the running water eating it away.... I was thinkling about Collins puddle just to get rid of my bait but this rain has me thinking to stay home..... Anyone know the conditions of Collins? Shore ice ok? I hate to stay home and waste this bait. It's do or die and tomorrow is it for me.  So anyone going out tomorrow??? Sunday?? Where you headed???

Keeping them alive isn't my worry. No problem doing that. Been doing that for years. Pike/Walleye season is up this weekend. That's what I fish for. Not to mention the fading ice...........

Sorry to,go off topic. But my bait tank is getting slimy even if I change the water. I am afraid all my bait is tainted.lol
Yes, I am Hoping to get out Saturday after the rain lets up some.

It should be a good bite with the low pressure coming in.  Put on your Ice Armor ice fishing suit and get inside your hut, should be good to go.

I can't see why it wouldn't.   On top of all the ridic. cold we had in January and February, what we have had in the last 4 days isn't much more than a glorified mid-winter thaw.   Most winters we get an inch or two of rain mid-season.   At best we'll see half-inch tommorrow.

Hit the same spot  as the eyes and go for Perch. Use them as bait if you get into them. Small ones for bait bigger ones for a meal.....

Same here, got to hit it hard as the days of the ice are numbered for this season

Going out on Chautauqua Sunday I don't think it supposed to rain. But no matter how hard it rains the fish won't get any wetter.
