Almost PB Eye....

Went out early this A.M. in search of Eyes...with Kalidor...got all set up...and set up his Under Water Cam (that I might add he bought off me last year... ;D ;D) Unbelievable clarity down there....hundreds and hundreds of perch :o :o :o, I always thought there was a malfunction with my finder, as it would always go black....well....it's from all the perch...Within the first half hour, saw a couple of real, real brutes swim by...it was awesome...seeing hundreds of perch....then NONE!!.. ;D ;D :o ;D Big Fish Coming In!!!! ;D ;D ;D, then...it happened...a nice Eye swims up....takes a swipe and misses...I'm thinking to myself...it doesn't really look that big...on camera...than it takes another swipe and I set the hook and brought her right up....Measured 29 inches...and weighed 9.1 pounds...WOW!!! ;D ;DWhat a beauty!! Saw two other eyes that came by, that were MUCH bigger than that one! :o :o...In total marked 7 Eyes....Two decent size pike came by...then.... :o :o :o BIG OL' MUSKY...!!!! ;D ;D This thing was masive...it didnt' even compare to the 29 incher...across the entire screen...swam back and forth...lasted for about 30 seconds....the sediment that came from the bottom from it's own current was unbelievable....than it was gone... :( :(

All in all, it was a great day, with great company.... ;D

Awsome eye.  I agree with slipbob I think that baby is 30+

Very nice Marty! Now you can do better than that ! :D :D ;D ;)Good luck in the morning. Ill be out this weekend for sure...Well see what spot produces better .....I'll leave ya with the womans info .or was it the natives  ;D ;D ;) 8)..

That'ts the way to get in there and start things moving Azulu. Congrats on a great fish and yes your measurement seems conservative to what I see in the pic too . ;D

The final measurement Lonewolf gave me was 29 5/8's.... :'( :'( ;D ;D ;D 3/8's off the trophy category... ;D ;D

I'll just have to get a bigger one!!! ;D

Awesome entry Azula......and yes....nice to see an angler with a little more conservative entry.....pretty close to trophy entry.....now I expect to see an upgrade from you.....now get out there and get her!!!!!!!.....WTG.....Grump  :flex:

Some nice filets there. Very nice catch. And I agree with the majority-- it is at least 30" if not a tad more. Utes
