jiffy model 30 3 hp

My jiffy quit on me yesterday when I try to start it the fighting turns as I pull the recoil and we I turn it by hand it makes a grinding noise anyone else have this happen?

Something similar happened to me before ! You are having clutch/transmission problems. Probably dried up needs lubing ! Maybe the clutch is stuck or something or you have some worn or broken parts in it.
