twin lakes catfish

fished Friday on the upper lake,  caught 12 catfish in 45 min.  I have caught 20+ catfish this year.  Did the Fish commission stock more cats this year or does anyone have any idea why I am catching so many cats this year vs. other years?

we have been picking them up at lower and upper lake on crappie jigs tipped with maggots.there all about 10-12 inches long.i think they were stocked a couple years ago but not sure.

Same small jig tipped with maggot or waxie.  all about the same size.  It is crazy.
