Nope, but I found a peanut butter/jelly sandwich in my backpack when getting my icefishing stuff together this past December! 9 months of priceless rotting took place in that sack!!! :o
 Smell ya later, Scott

2 cups of warm tap water with a teaspoon of baking soda disolved in it will do the trick. Let them soak for a couple hours.

Billy,
I have Had this problem before.  Use smelly jelly or another fish scent to cover it up.  Some of my jigs smelled musty last season and I tried this and it worked.  The jigs would not work well with out it.

Ever drop a nightcrawler in your tackle box and lose it until the next trip or forget to remove your bait box from the trunk of the car in the middle of summer?

Try fishing for stripers in salt water - the accumulation of schemegma and fish slime is beyond belief.

My waders always smell like a three day old broccoli fart.

I'd rather be fishing!

Yeah, Salmon season up here. I think I will bottle that and sell it, PU! Stink bait, there are lots of salmon streams up here so I could get a few different varieties.

A few years back, I got in a fight with a brandy bottle and left a bag of thawed smelt on top of my Frabill polar-therm tip-ups in a pail.  It was late in the season and warm out.  A day or two later, when I returned to the world of the living, I found a bag of gelatinous goo on my tip-ups.  Most of the smelt juice had drained out of the bag and penatrated between the tip-up bodies and the foam that is underneath them.  Those tip-ups still REEK to this day.  We joke that they are my catfishing tip-ups because they smell as bad as stinkbait.  Yuck!
