Ice fishing withdrawl!
« on: Jan 13, 2006, 04:43 PM »
I'm so withdrawn from no ice fishing in CNY that I'm reading and responding to the Alaska threads! :cookoo:

I seriously need to fish!

I have a brand new Vex FL-18, Lazer auger, and Fish Trap Scout, collecting dust in the basement! :'(

May try to get on erieville Monday! :-\

Thanks for the support ;D

Where in CNY are you ? I live in Otsego county and Arnolds lake, Crumhorn Lake and Goodyear lake all  had safe ice on it last weekend with plenty of people fishing on them. Now with all this warm weather and rain, things have changed. Come Monday though it maybe another story with frigid air coming in to CNY.

No ice fishing here. The weather is supose to be cold for a day or two, but with this rain it won't matter here in the fingerlakes.
When the ice is on. I'm on the ice.

I was thinking of taking my tip downs down to the marina where I keep my boat and seeting 2 up on the edge of the docks for perch.
